Red oak always seems to be the go to hardwood. Red oak always look clean, solid and rich no matter what it is turned into. In this case, a solid, hand made cribbage board. And a cribbage board is a must include when heading to hunting camp or any camping trip. This 4 track board has been designed with laser engraved track guides to make it easier to keep track of each players peg location, including point number references and a skunk line. Furthermore, each hole has been individually drilled. The board has been hand sanded and finished with multiple applications of quality hard Tung oil finish that makes the red oak grain pop with beautiful detail. Because of the hardness of this wood selection, the surface is amazingly smooth. The board is then hand sanded again to 1000 grit and a polished finish of Wood Vigor from Wayne's Wood Originals applied.
